THE "PIPING DESIGN TO AS 4041 & ASME B31.3" TRAINING COURSE

THIS COURSE IS AVAILABLE AS BOTH A PUBLIC AS WELL AS AN IN-HOUSE (PRIVATE) COURSE IN 2024.  REGISTRATIONS ARE NOW OPEN FOR OUR AUGUST COURSES.

AS 4041 is the governing standard for pressure piping in Australia.  ASME B31.3 is one of the more commonly used pressure piping codes in the world.  The purpose of this two day piping design training course is to provide guidance and instruction in the areas of pipe stress analysis and piping flexibility analysis in the context of AS 4041 and ASME B31.3 so full compliance is achieved.  In essence, this piping training course could also be termed a "pipe stress analysis training course".

By combining an AS 4041 piping training course and an ASME B31.3 piping training course together, new Piping Design Engineers in Australia can be provided with a faster, more efficient way of learning the key requirements of these two commonly used codes.

Typically, this seminar would be best suited to those who have some experience with piping systems or who have previously attended one or both of KASA Redberg's other piping training courses.  Graduate Engineers training to become Piping Design Engineers would also benefit from this seminar.

The "Piping Design to AS 4041  and ASME B31.3" training course will provide attendees with knowledge and instruction in the most commonly employed clauses of both of these pressure piping design codes.  Whilst there is an emphasis on the design of piping to AS 4041 and ASME B31.3, basic information relating to the fabrication, inspection and testing requirements of both of these piping design codes will also be presented.

The "Piping Design to AS 4041 and ASME B31.3" training seminar provides the code context to KASA Redberg's other piping training seminars and has been designed so that upon completion, attendees should be able to design pressure piping systems to these codes under minimum supervision from a Senior Engineer.

Note:  KASA is no longer providing copies of these piping codes for attendees to use during the seminar.  Whilst it is not an absolute necessity, it is recommended that attendees bring their own copies for bookmarking purposes.
